Exploring Biking Gear

Hello, it's Vanessa Dubola here to talk to you about biking. When I was a young girl, I struggled to lose weight and keep it off. I continually focused on my diet in an attempt to keep the excess pounds at bay. Eventually, I realized that I was living a sedentary lifestyle that was making it difficult to stay at a healthy weight. As a result, I picked up biking as my new hobby. I started spending a lot of time on my mountain bike. I rode on trails, streets and through parks to work out my body and burn calories. Since I was instantly in love with this hobby, I started picking up lots of biking gear. I'd like to use this site to discuss biking gear uses and benefits. I hope you follow along and learn something new about gear used for biking. Thanks for visiting.

Gift Ideas For A Volleyball Player

If a friend or loved one is a volleyball player, treat her to a gift inspired by the game that she loves. Whether she's an avid player or a beginner, there are plenty of volleyball-related items that you can get her for any special occasion, including birthdays, holidays and graduations.

Not only will a volleyball-themed gift be a thoughtful way of showing her how much you care, it will also be useful, since she can use the items when playing or practicing the game. One item that she can always use is an individual ball carrying bag. These mesh bags typically feature a top-opening cord with a toggle closure for easy access.

Look for a bag that also has a convenient plastic hook on top so that the recipient can easily attach her bag to the exterior of a team bag. The volleyball player can also hook the ball onto the exterior of her own gym bag, freeing up more room inside for clothing, shoes, a phone, a purse, and other personal care items.

Create a creative volleyball-inspired gift by filling one of these carry bags with one or several of these other handy or whimsical items:

1. Jewelry

If you friend or loved one also loves jewelry, treat her to a pair of volleyball-shaped earrings, a pendant or a ball-and-net-shaped charm for a bracelet. You can choose costume jewelry if you're on a budget, or pick something in a longer-lasting metal, such as gold or sterling silver, if you have more money to spend.

2. T-Shirts

Another fun way of celebrating the recipient's love of volleyball is with a themed t-shirt that features quotes or designs related to the game. If you're crafty, you can decorate the shirt yourself, or you can have it personalized with the player's name, team number, or any other customization.

3. Knee Pads and Wrist Guards

For a more practical gift, fill the volleyball bag with game essentials such as knee pads and wrist guards. If you can, find out the recipient's preferred brands and styles before purchasing the gifts so that they have comfortable fits.

One way to personalize the present is by choosing wrist guards in the recipient's favorite color, or have them printed with her name or special design.

4. Tennis Shoes or Bathing Suit

If the celebrant generally plays indoor volleyball and you know her shoe size and preferred style, treat her to a new pair of tennis shoes. If she prefers playing beach volleyball, choose a bathing suit or a beach towel instead. All of these must-have items will fit easily into the ball carry bag to create a personalized gift.
