Hello, it's Vanessa Dubola here to talk to you about biking. When I was a young girl, I struggled to lose weight and keep it off. I continually focused on my diet in an attempt to keep the excess pounds at bay. Eventually, I realized that I was living a sedentary lifestyle that was making it difficult to stay at a healthy weight. As a result, I picked up biking as my new hobby. I started spending a lot of time on my mountain bike. I rode on trails, streets and through parks to work out my body and burn calories. Do you have an outdoor hot tub that you want to improve even further? Here are accessories that will add both functionality and fun to your outdoor spa.

Cover Lift

Hot tub covers are bulky and heavy, and they can be challenging for a single person to lift. Some assistance can be helpful especially during your senior years or after a tiring workout.

A cover lift utilizes bars and/or hydraulic pistons to make raising and lowering your hot tub's cover much easier. The hydraulic lifts are easiest to use, while ones that have bars only tend to cost a little less and require virtually no maintenance. Hydraulic pistons may need to be serviced or replaced after several years.

Umbrella

An umbrella is one of the best enhancements that you can add to an outdoor hot tub, as it will provide shade on sunny days. They also can keep precipitation off of you if you use the hot tub even on days with slight drizzles or flurries.

If purchasing an umbrella, make sure it can rotate 360 degrees so that you can adjust it as the sun moves.

Bluetooth Speaker

Add ambiance to your hot tub with Bluetooth speakers. Bluetooth allows music devices to play tunes without being too close to the hot tub's water, and you can stream music, audiobooks or podcasts through them.

Make sure any Bluetooth speaker you use has volume, play/pause and track controls on it, so you don't have to get up when you want to adjust what's playing.

Television

Adding a television makes it possible to not only stream audio, but also to watch shows and movies when you're outside. Put on your favorite streaming service or pull up your favorite sports team. Then, sit back and relax.

Steps make it easier to get in and out of your hot tub, and they're a simple upgrade to add. Even if you have no problem climbing in and out, guests who are less mobile may appreciate the added feature.

Towel Tree

Keep any towels you use off of the ground and nearby furniture, which can become wet when the weather rains or snows. A towel tree will provide a convenient place to hang towels that you use.

Look for a towel tree that holds enough towels for your household and a couple of guests. Most are small enough that you can place them anywhere near your hot tub that's accessible.
